Lunch break
Walking around the gardens at Cap Roig again, on a beautiful sunny day, we came across the gardener's gloves and tools abandoned where he had stopped for lunch. The hard-working gloves having a well-earned rest were instantly appealing.
We spent much longer exploring this time, finding a whole section of the cactus garden we hadn't visited last time. But despite taking dozens of cactus photos, the votes for this one were unanimous.
After that, we drove to Tamariu and had lunch at a beachside restaurant, along with dozens of other people, all enjoying soaking up the sun on their long weekend (yesterday being a public holiday, lots of people took advantage of the "bridge"). For us, it wasn't quite warm enough to sit outside, but we did the next best thing and sat in the glassed-in area looking out at the beach. The food wasn't great, but the setting and the weather made up for it!
