Walking into the Wind and Snow.

It was well below freezing this morning but as the snowfall increased the temperatures actually rose to only minus 2 degrees. We just got back home before the road became too dangerous as ice, forming under the snow on the road, froze. Several cars slid down here, just above our house, sideways today and going out now would not be a sensible thing to do, unless you were driving a snow plough of course. At only 600 metres above sea level we do not normally get snowed in and so we are currently testing out a bottle of local wine!
