Edinburgh by Night

Experimenting with my Panasonic Lumix FZ300 on long exposure shots at night, I have now worked out why I could not previously get an exposure longer than 1 second. (My camera was previously in silent mode which uses the electronic shutter and this needed to be disabled). I am not very impressed by the results even after using noise reduction software in post processing. I will rely on my compact, a Sony RX100 or my Canon SLR in future for shots of this nature as they give beautifully sharp images in these conditions. The shot was taken towards the bottom of Orchard Brae looking towards the five way roundabout.
