Art in Metal

I love the shapes in the iron around the bandstand in the park.  The skill and expertise in creating things like this never cease to amaze me.

I've been out looking at sculpture again today before a lovely lunch with former colleagues.  I saw two widely contrasting war memorials - one seemingly focussing on peace, the other on hope, one in good condition, one in very poor condition and in need of £80,000 to move it to a better sight...  I continue to be fascinated by this project.
