Stitches

District nurse took off dressings, steri strips and pulled out 2 really long woven in stitches from both wounds. The rest of the stitches were dissolveable. It stung a bit but was okay. They are lovely and clean and healing well. One sore area just beyond the lymph node wound that is a bit swollen and very sore to the touch, it doesn't appear to be infected but I will keep an eye on it. I can't tell you what a relief it is to take that heavy duty tight straight jacket sport bra off for the first time in 2 weeks and go to bed without it. PHEW.

Visited a friend who is receiving palliative care it was a tough call but very glad to see each other.
