Birds of Paradise?

The grey pigeon, reinvented in full technicolor. I spotted these birds outside the Walker Art Gallery on my way to work some time ago but today I really took time to look at them, and I also noticed that the colourful birds are standing proud along the whole edge of the roof. Apparently there are 180 of them, and they're there as part of the Liverpool Biennial. What cheery chaps they are! Is it time to rethink the status of the much aligned common pigeon?
