The Mither Kirk

We'd a slippery walk into town this morning. Although there has been no more snow the ungritted pavements are very icy. Definitely break an ankle territory.
The Kirk of St Nicholas dates from the 12th Century and the church was enlarged in the 15th C making it possibly the largest medieval parish church in Scotland. St Nicholas is the patron saint of Aberdeen, and many famous Aberdonians are buried in the kirkyard.
