Keeping warm

Modelling an attractive Bolivian alpaca jumper and matching hat bought on an impulse in La Paz from a lovely girl who had every reason not to understand my jokes, this example of a seriously misunderstood and endangered subspecies is emerging from a long period of Man Flu and addiction to BBC Westminster.

The only conclusion to be drawn from the experience is that there is a significant time delay in the television transmission process, possibly two hundred years, judging by the period decorations and archaic forms of abuse presumably introduced by the script-writers to distract viewers from the truth that absolutely nothing is happening in this daily soap opera.

BBC Parliament as opiate of the people? Just as well there is nothing important to be done.
