"THERE IS NO PLANET B" (French President Macron)
Today was an amazing day and I was so proud of the eight thousand students and young apprentices who gathered in the streets of Lausanne to protest the lack of climate awareness. My grandson was among them.
Being present was totally edifying and I adored the energy, enthusiasm of all these young men and women. Many of them were carrying important messages. Here are some of them:
"There is no Planet B" (said to a certain president who refuses to take Global warming seriously)
"Raise Your Voice Not the Sea Level"
"Save the World"
"We don't want to go to Mars" (main photo) and one of my favourites.
"Climate Justice Now"
"Who's Future?"
"Save our Future"
"Save ecology"
"What about the animals?"
"The Forests Need to be saved"
"Boycott Palm oil"
There were many more and I was badly placed to take more photos.
I had decided to go to the 11 am cinema (nice cheap price at that time of the day) to go and see "A Star is Born". Fabulous singing - not so keen on the drugs, the alcohol and the language, but a touching film worth seeing. I have become a Lady Gaga fan and I always liked Bradley Cooper! Hihi!
I wish I could show bigger photos of the demonstration, but it would take up too many extras. You can see a collage which gives an idea of the ambiance. I LOVE TODAY'S YOUNG PEOPLE!
Today, talking about this was more important than showing a flower photo!
