Boat and reeds

at Brancaster  Staithe, tide briskly flowing.

On the way out I passed the point where the Duke of Edinburgh had his car accident yesterday, the news was given and continues to receive much attention (in the UK and perhaps further afield). Even though it was some 24 hours after the event numerous media vans with their satellite dishes were parked at the roadside creating a traffic hazard. I wondered about blipping them and decided not to stop and add to the danger thereabouts. Much pompous pontification about driving and advanced age from media pundits has irritated me somewhat.
