Qin

Ollie dog and I had just left the Dog Dip at Panshanger Park when we met Qin the Shar Pei and his young male owner. Qin is a bone-mouth Shar Pei, much nearer to the look of the original Chinese fighting dogs. He's not as wrinkly as many that have been bred in recent years. Qin was quite reserved but Ollie loved him and before we knew it she had enticed him back to the Dog Dip. Qin's owner told me that he was sad that Qin isn't keen on water. I went in and tried to get him to play by throwing twigs. Then a gorgeous dark-haired young woman wearing red wellies arrived with two dogs. I threw twigs for them all. We were all happy because our dogs were happy.

The dark-haired woman is a professional dog walker and only takes one dog out at a time with her golden retriever. She and Qin's owner left the Dog Dip at the same time and went in the same direction. I think they make a perfect couple. :)

Shortly afterwards we met another beautiful young woman, this time blonde with her hair in plaits. She had four dogs with her, including a feisty pug called Hercules that spooked Ollie. She too was a professional dog-walker. Puppy love is becoming big business.
