We watched Stan & Ollie at Kendall Square cinema followed by giros for lunch. As the sun was out we walked around the MIT campus where we came across these interesting student dorms.

MIT is a very well funded college and is sitting on a $16.4 billion endowment. However an undergraduate degree costs $64K each year including lodging and meal plan. The college is highly selective and takes only 6% of applicants. The graduation rate after four years is one of the best in the States at around 81% compared to the national average of just 33%.

Average student loan debt in the States is $40K. As of 2018, outstanding student loan debt totals $1.5 trillion....
