Hellebore.

Mrs TD had being gently guiding me in the direction of this plant for Flower Friday all week, and quite handsome it looked too. This morning arrived with a heavy frost on the lawn suggesting that my bees are going to get the cold snap that they need, and the cold seemed to give this Hellebore an attack of brewer’s droop. This one flower seemed to survive fairly well and so was judiciously propped up on some of the more rigid foliage so that I could point the macro lens at it from a reasonable angle.
