I didn’t realise quite what a tome this would be when I said I’d like it. It’s even heavier than it looks.

I spent ages reading this bit and that bit. Trouble is, it’s got cross-references in it, but before I get anywhere near the referred-to entry, some other entry catches my eye and I forget all about the first thing. I love it.
