A few days ago one of my Facebook friends posted a link to this page. As it's meant to snow sometime soon I thought I'd get some balloons ready and give it a go.

First I tried a blue one with no trouble at all, the food colouring poured into the balloon nicely, I filled it with water & shoved it in the freezer. The red proved to be more of a problem. The viscosity of the red colouring was thick and gloopy so it didn't pour well, it meant it all stuck in the neck of the balloon so when I attached it to the tap I got red colouring all over my fingernails. It's not a good look.
