Watching in the Rain

This is the third straight day of rain and the dogs are getting cabin fever. I decided we'd gear up and walk to the dog park so they had other dogs for company and to rough-house with for awhile. We arrived to an empty dog park. Our dogs ran around for a few minutes, but mostly they stood around watching and waiting for other dogs to appear to no avail. We walked home by way of our mailbox where the dogs had a chance to greet another person who gave them each a pat while getting their mail. They had a good outing, then dinner and a snooze on the couch. (See extra photo.)
