Fiona Friday/Quilting

Today Fiona and I went to friend Margaret’s quilting studio to figure out how to put together the squares she gelli printed at the island into a quilt.    We did a lot in 2 hours!  (3 of us having parts: sewing, cutting, pinning, ironing..and lots of choosing...)  Pretty much just have to quilt it and edge it….sometime.  Thanks so much to the talented, oh so nice and patient M!  will blip when it's  finished...

Then home for cards with Boppa and pancakes.  She brought her family’s  plattär pan to school today as part of her presentation about cultures in her family.   Had to talk about Swedish pancakes, what else!    My pan is at the island and this one (in the extra) is not as good (and definitely not on a glass stove top)  but she likes making shapes with the griddle best anyway.  She could have made them herself for the class ......
