Kiwi Summer....Evening Swim

Evening Swim at the Kaiteriteri Estuary on a flood tide. It was a mild and balmy evening here with lots of folk out and about along the beach front. The water was surprisingly warm in spite of it being an incoming tide. We had a big worry today on hearing that a friend had crashed off his bike in the Mountain Bike Park. Because of the terrain and our friend’s injuries he was choppered out of the park and on to Nelson Hospital for urgent surgery. Recover fast Vaughn!
