Back again!

The workmen were back again today, in the pouring rain, putting earth into the section between the cycle path and the road. We assume they are going to put grass seed down to make a verge at some point. They all disappeared very soon after this photo was taken as it was after 12.30 and they finish at lunchtime on a Saturday.

The birds will now be coming back and taking over the area for the weekend. We have a number of pheasants who come trotting along the edge of the field on a Sunday, which is nice.
