Nutcracker!

Well against my better judgement last year I booked school night tickets for the Royal Ballet Nutcracker because it was the only night we could get tickets to see Gary being Drosselmeyer. However it was worth it. The production as always was superb. Stage door was really quiet. She managed a few autographs and a chat to Kevin O'Hare before getting photos with all of the main cast, Anna-Rose O'Sullivan (Clara), Marcelino Sambé (Nutcracker), Laura Morera (Sugarplum Fairy) and William Bracewell (Prince). Then we waited and waited and finally out came Gary with a huge hug for Carys and one for me too. He gave her real Drosselmeyer glitter, which made her slightly speechless and the asked if she had a Nutcracker lapel badge and gave her his own from his jacket. More hugs and a couple of selfies later and one tired but happy girl was on the way home.
