Down the Plot

Spent a couple of hours down at the allotment this afternoon. Major winter prune of a plum tree which has been crowding out a couple of apple trees.

Taking the branches across the allotment where a bonfire is being prepared I took a look at some other plots. Not much appears to be going on, far too cold for most. Some have added a personal touch that brings a little colour.

The old compost heap (mountain) has been closed. Members have been told to compost on their plots. Plastic Daleks have been invading, I have been using old pallets for a while even though my plot is next to the old compost heap.
