MONTANE SPINE RACE

The two in the middle of the photo, they made it! Gabriele Kenkenberg was the third female to finish with a time of 135:58:24, and Jens Wackerhagen at 136:04:40. They reached Kirk Yetholm at midnight last night after a “walk” starting at Edale in Derbyshire. That’s 268 miles!

The overall winner was Jasmin Paris in a time of 83:12:23. Hurrah for the women!

I look forward to the event next year. Must start training .......
