REDWING

The sun that rose so beautifully in Kath Gordon's blip this morning had long gone by the time I drove past the beach to the bird reserve and the light was pretty low. But there were plenty of lovely birds around today, and a weasel scurrying about. Lots of flighty Redwings were after the last few berries, and here's one. Since it's Silly Saturday, the extras show a roost of bats in the wildlife garden and - silliest of all - a cornflower which had just opened!
