A trip down...

Memory Lane.

Before Christmas, Josh & Natalie told us they were having a night out with friends to Tooting market. In our day it was just a market but now they have many street food type eateries amongst the usual market style shops.

I used to have a Saturday job at a small (tiny) Boots in Tooting and Mr C grew up very near to here. This morning, Mr C suggested we popped down there for a wander and a bit of nostalgia. He was armed with the camera and me with my phone as we had a little wander. We chatted to a stall (shop?) owner about how it used to be and he told us it’s buzzing in the evening. We also bumped into a friend, who lives near us and whose son was in Simeon’s class. Once again we reminisced about the area. Lots of ‘in our day..’ type of conversations were had.

A nice couple of hours on a very grey and cold day.
