Long voyage

Joppa Strand - good to see him back on here - wished us bon voyage on yesterday's blip. It should have been "long voyage". With taxi, two flights, two trains, and taxi, it does take a while to get here. We've decided this time to come for the weekend - well, for Sunday. So that did mean devoting Saturday to getting here, but I'm sure it will be worth it. Plus, the travelling couldn't have gone more smoothly, and we have the most impossibly swanky AirBnB. It's just been renovated, and it is both huge and very smart indeed. And of course, as it's Finland, quite warm inside! So all is good this evening, at least.

After dropping our stuff, we walked down to a local supermarket to pick up a few supplies. It's quite close to where we stayed last time we were here, so we knew (well, I knew) where to go. On the way back, I detoured into a graveyard to get my blip. It snowed most recently this afternoon, so the trees have that lovely "piled high with icing sugar" look.
