Yuletide night

Busy busy day.
Had to sort out the house this morning as it hadn't been touched all week.
Headed into the school in the afternoon to help with preparations for the Christmas fayre tomorrow. The yarn club are having a stand so got that done, but spent most of the time helping to get santas grotto sorted as I helped with it last year.
Thom's best mate then came for a play after school and we were then joined by my friend mhairi and her son Callum. They had come down to see the Yuletide night that's held in the village each year.
We made it into town and popped by a couple if shops, purchasing ridiculously overpriced lightsabers on the way. The boys were good at lightsabering outside the shops while we went in.
I met some lovely people that I'd known online, as well as catching up with other friends.
It was a great night and I love how our local community comes together.
Time for bed and hoping the husband doesn't make too much noise when he stumbles in from his works night out.
The yarn is the new yarn I got yesterday, and I had a lovely time in old maiden aunt this evening, where the yarn came from.
