Vence
Today we took another rather treacherous, mountain road drive to the little town of Vence. I have only started driving again this week after two months with this fractured foot, so it was a challenge! However, we made it there in one piece, thankfully. This was taken from the Matisse Chapel. It is renowned for its beautiful stained glass windows, created by Matisse and I was desperate to take photos but there was a rather severe woman standing guard. If you Google images of the Matisse Chapel you will how stunning those windows are (taken by other more lucky or more daring photographers than me!)
