Whirligig

We had ten minutes of sunshine just before 3:00 p.m., the first all day, so I wasted no time in getting to the back garden/yard, where the feeble rays could be seen through the trees.

My fascination with the vine maple's samaras continues, and I like the soft background colors and the deep red buds patiently waiting for spring.
