The Cannon and Prison Island
Managed a very long walk into town, around town and back, Doreen remains in bed but improving we think.
By the time we’d had lunch it was getting dark but I wanted to deal with the two compost bins in the garden. One was full, the other had finished compost. I was able to empty and bag up the compost from one, turn the full one into the now cleared bin and also bag up a pile of turf which had been rotting away - all illuminated by a security light. (which I had to walk in front of every 5 minutes to switch back on)
Managed the Saturday evening date night, interspersed with looking after Doreen, finally finishing in the early morning.
Today’s blip is a contribution to Silly Saturday. What a silly title, perhaps a good name for such an ugly building. Escape Kent, though, is sometimes how it feels when trying to get out of the county via the Dartford Crossing or the southern section of the M25. The cannon, by the way, was given to Maidstone to commemorate the Crimean War.
Thank you to admirer for hosting.
