Arctic super-wolf moonrise at sunset

Today was one of those blip frenzy kind of days. The camera shutter was rarely still, despite a few objections from the electronics due to cold battery temperatures. But hey ... that is what deep pockets are for!

So a 'warm battery camera' was in action on the felltop in the breeze (a gentle Northerly adding somewhat to the bite of the -21ºC air temperature), and also down in the trees. Then to cap it all the sunset, which segued seamlessly from sunrise was accompanied by a gorgeous moonrise in a purple sky.

So much difficulty in choosing today's blip. But I have included a couple of extras.
