Bill Bentley

This is my first time at Abu Dhabi airport. I'm here waiting for my connecting flight. It's not as good as Changi (my favourite airport) but it's better than Hong Kong (which I don't like).

I am presently sitting in the Bill Bentley Pub (since 1823) enjoying a Stella - sadly, the most decent option among a row of appalling pump labels. Still, needs must. After sitting on a plane for seven hours, it tastes just fine and it's nice and cold.

It's 8:30 in the morning here and it seems quite odd that you are all asleep in the UK. Even odder, I'm sitting here catching up with the Archers. I love the Internet!!!!

My onward flight is leaving in just over two hours. I may have to have another drink.
