The Golden Hour, Aylesford
An absolutely beautiful, crisp winter's day today. One of far too few in the past month or so. This did mean, though, that I had to get out with my camera and take some shots. I decided to go out at just before three in the afternoon to try and capture some of that golden light that appears as the sun starts to head towards the horizon. It was so beautiful that even this rather non-descript scrubland at the edge of my village looked stunning, especially as the rays caught the sculptural grasses in the last few minutes before sundown. The extra is of the birds on the wire that became sillhouettes against the amazing sunset.
