The Bird has Flown

My dearest and oldest friend came visit this weekend which lightened my world immensely. She is also a licensed bird ringer and ringed and logged 18 birds in our garden. This photo was supposed to capture me releasing a blue tit but as you can see the photographer wasn’t quick enough!
