Pirates

It's been a fairly typical Sunday. G's evening lesson got cancelled, so the decision was made to go out and get the shopping done. The weather has turned cold, so we wanted to enjoy it while it lasts.

Festival City is in the throes of Dubai Shopping Festival. There are big discounts everywhere and with the aim of attracting shoppers, the Mall has created this space on their waterfront. They have a daily sound and light show here and the current theme is about pirates. I thought they've done a pretty good job in the way they've done this. The light show is nothing to write home about.

We had dinner out, popped into IKEA and finally Carrefour. Got home much later than expected. Just managing to post this blip before calling it a day.
