Christmas Shopping

We went on a family christmas shopping day today. We started in Wellington and ended up in Queensgate. I could not get over how grumpy people were. this is supposed to be a time where people enjoy buying for each other and giving. instead people were stressed and annoyed and generally unhappy. Mind you, as a family of six we were walking chatting and wandering slowly looking around and it was mostly the people who were rushing around trying to get past that were getting irate so I don't blame them really. We were holding up the flow of traffic a little as it is not a huge Mall and a randomly wandering family blocking the road would annoy me if I was in a hurry too.
