Tree Light

Another disturbed and dozy night.... My shoulder is so painful, even though I try not to lie on it! It's been seven weeks so far I think, and whilst it's reasonably comfortable in the daytime, the pain seems to go up a notch at night. I took Ibuprofen every night last week, but last night I cracked and ransacked the medicine cupboard for some leftover co-dydramol to take. It helped a little, but I'm still waking up in the night. 

I don't generally like to take painkillers unnecessarily, but I'm thinking I'll need to be taking them for a while yet. 

After any earlier start than I'd like for a weekend, I went out and did a few errands. I wanted to make the most of the sunshine, seeing as it rained all day yesterday. 

I was supposed to go for a walk with Ro and the pooch, but she ditched me in favour of a friend. I decided to go by myself, not least because I knew the woods would look beautiful in the sunshine, plus I wanted to get my steps up. 

Lucy came round after I got back, and she played and had a little cake from yesterday. 

I've felt quite productive today, catching up with some overdue college work, and also managed to squeeze in a workout. 

I can't tell you how much I don't want to go and face the little horror's tomorrow.... ;-) 


* The extra is the entrance to the woods. It reminds me of childhood, and simpler times :-)
