High Key Amaryllis
This is the same bloom I blipped on Friday - it has now fully opened. Another has opened partway now, and there are potentially two more after that, although I'm not sure if the fourth will amount to anything much.
The extra is another red thing. In this case - a male northern cardinal. Always a welcome pop of color on a dreary winter day. Actually today hasn't been all that dreary - but the temperature has been falling and we're expecting a DEEP FREEZE overnight.
Also - a lunar eclipse. As a person who goes to bed and turns the light out at about 9:30, I can only hope that I wake up at some point during the proceedings and get to see a bit of it. We'll see if we'll see anything.
