Gartmorn

Church this morning then, after lunch, a walk around Gartmorn Dam in Sauchie.

I'm leading a Ramblers walk in that area in a couple of weeks time, and although I didn't have enough time to do the full recce, I wanted to get an idea of the 'lie of the land'.

The path around the loch is around three miles long, and about two miles in I saw the full moon rising over the loch (see extra). Further on as I neared the Visitor Centre I got the view above, and it was an easy decision to make that my Blip for the day. Behind me as I took that photo a wonderful sunset was unfolding, hence the unusual colours on the water.
