Branching out

A drive out to Dunham Massey this morning......grey, damp and pretty chilly, but good to get out!

We were joined by middle son, who met us there......we had a good walk around the deer park, a bit muddy but not too bad. Then into The Stables for a warming lunch, veggie curry for me, sandwich for hub and a cake for son, with coffees all round :-)

Son had to head off after lunch as he had to be back to collect Olivia from school, whilst we walked around the gardens. Lots of daffys, snowdrops, camelias and witchhazels in flower now.

Took lots of different shots, but liked the size and shape of these massive overhanging old branches, along the backwall of the park.
