Lots of birthdays on the horizon!

I think I may be getting a cold, as I woke early with the symptoms. Another cold grey start, but gradually the mistiness became thinner and glimpses of subdued sun appeared from time to time.  
There is a keen wind today.
I didn't feel much like venturing out, but made the effort and went into Birmingham on the Cross-City line, with hubby, who had a meeting in the office just after lunch.
I was going to get a birthday present for my Great-Niece, who will be 7 this week. 
   Our granddaughter is 6 next week. 
Then follow 3 birthdays in quick succession at the beginning of February!
    Grand Central shopping area is above New Street Station. I usually go on Mondays if I have to make a trip at all. Usually infrequently! 
   As you will be able to see from the photo, It was not over busy. Suits me fine! (I did use a filter when I had uploaded it to the laptop.)  
  I was successful in my purchases, and after fortifying myself with a coffee and biscuit, as I felt a bit low on energy, I came back home.
 The present will be posted to London tomorrow.
I now need to make some tea so this blip is short today.
    Did any of you see the lunar eclipse?
It was too cloudy here. But there again, I was asleep!
