Never Gonna Give You Up

Dear O'H dear and Lovely Tea Jenny,

After a lovely Sunday morning chatting to you Lovely Tea Jenny, The Youngest Mini Princess and I went to Portobello beach with Murphy for a walk.

Murphy has decided recently that children are his new best friends. If a child shows ANY interest in him, he will bestow the great honour of dropping his ball at his or her feet and expecting it to be thrown. Repeatedly. Until he gets bored, which is roughly at the end of time.

This happened today and oh joy of joys, the child’s dad turned out to be one of my colleagues on a large family day out. I did a bit of small talk and walked on but Murphy had other ideas. He was not about to leave his new ball thrower/slave and kept running back to them. Thankfully they found their new stalker very funny, particularly the sudden onset of his deafness when being called away!
