Late Night Shopping

Rich reds and deep green,
Spice scents and chestnuts roasting,
Drinking sweet mulled wine.

It was Christmas late night shopping night in our town. It's always a nice occasion, the shops all display their Christmas finery, some shop assistants dress up in festive outfits. We have children's choirs singing carols. But my favourite shop of all is Carvills .... the sell furniture, lamps, linen and all manner or lovely thing. Their shop window displays are always a delight. And at Christmas there is such a lovely atmosphere in there, plus lovely people serving mulled wine! This is taken looking through from the entrance into the side window. I rather liked the inside/outside worlds in the picture ...

I didn't buy much apart from a knitted Christmas tree decoration and some scented candles .... but I enjoyed the mulled wine and the browsing!
