Chicken and Soup

But not together ----.Perish  the very thought !
Today more glorious sunshine but a very cold wind .The crows seemed to use their feathers as puffer jackets .Wise birds . After meeting a friend for coffee did a little shopping and headed home .Who should come to say hello but Chicken . He'd been clearing some left overs so got a reward of healthy peanuts ..I came home and prepared ( see extra )  soup from cauliflower, potato, leek , seasoned well & topped with mixed nuts. For starters ,German bread with horseradish ( my choice over butter) and a salad of tomatoes , olives and quinoa ....Simple , healthy and delicious .Seeing Chicken , a joy as ever ,then  cooking good healthy  vegan food likewise .,
