La Calavera Catrina

or: "Lady of the Dead'...from the 'Dia de los Muertos' celebrated in Mexico and other Latin American countries. We happened to be in Mexico one year during this holiday, it begins on the 31st of October and ends on the 2nd of November. We went to the little shops and looked for a souvenir, they make this paper mache dolls for 'everyone' and every kind of situations... but in the end I could not decide which one to buy. Then a few years later while in Venice Beach with my friends I saw a street vendor and bought it from him. It is very delicate and I really like it.
