V is for....

...Veganuary. I'm not sure where these names come from, certainly not the Oxford English Dictionary.  Is this like Dry January where one abstains following over-indulgence during the festive period? Good news for carnivores, only a few days left before they can go back to their burgers!  Although I don't eat meat, and haven't since the early 70s, I don't classify myself as vegetarian, and certainly not vegan, I think I'm what is know as Piscatarian; I do enjoy my cheese and fish. Having said that I feel it is good to try and stick to a healthy diet, with the occasional lapse of course.

So now you know where to head for a vegan feast, other restaurants are also serving probably!
