Leaving the Warmth of Ward 3A

Strangely sad to leave this warm and friendly place. Every single nurse, doctor, surgeon, auxiliary, student; everyone we've met here has treated Joe with love, care, warmth and respect. They've made him laugh, they've reassured him and they've comforted me when I've needed a little care myself.

The next stage of this journey starts next week with radio and chemotherapy.

Thank you again for the amazing letters and cards of support and love for Joe and the family from around the blip world. It has been extremely comforting for us all.
