Harvesting the Barley

When I took little 'h' home to Luggate, I noticed them harvesting the barley.  They didn't come near the road, so all my photos are taken from a distance.  The extras missed the cut.

This morning we scootered/walked into town for an ice cream.  We clocked up the 10,000 steps, so got our exercise done for the day.  Luckily the rain stayed away.

Later, we have had strong winds come through, the neighbours tree fell onto the road.  TheCouncil are quick at getting it cut up, and off the road.
