Male Quail

We have counted 32 California Quail on the yard. This is sort of an emergency blip, taken from the window. Outside was wet and dreary. 
Besides washing sheets and towels after the weekend quests, John and I went to the elementary school to volunteer as hoop counters for their Hoop-a-thon fundraiser.
