Bar in Budapest

Today was Sarah’s birthday so we had a bit of a celebration in the morning. Cake, candles, gifts and cards and general merriment.

Then brunch at a vegan cafe. I was in vegan heaven! Little bit of looking around before heading to the thermal baths.

The thermal baths were amazing. The water was 40 oc . We also went in the outside thermal pool. I felt like the snow monkeys you see in documentaries. The snow everywhere and the steam coming from the water. It was glorious. Also went for a steam room and plunge pool, then back to the thermal pool.

Hot drinks and cake were a must after before the long walk home.

Tonight we went to an Italian restaurant for Sarah’s birthday meal, and lovely it was. Not a late night as we were all zapped from the baths!
