Me and My Shadow

A lovely cold but sunny day today, so once I'd packed my case for the umpteenth time (that's it now - no more!! Not going for 3 days, but it's ready!), I decided to go out for a walk to give the snow boots and chains a good test.

The chains really are a best buy, as I had no problems on snow, ice, slopes or rough ground and felt so confident wearing them. I wore the boots with no socks and my toes were toasty the whole time (and I have peripheral neuropathy so my toes are usually frozen!)

Took loads of shots, but liked this one of me looking very tall - which I'm not:)
